755nm and 1064nm Skin Therapy System

Theory

YAG Laser

The 1064nm laser covers the near-infrared section of the absorption curve of common target chromophores in the skin, and the absorption rate of pigment and haemoglobin is lower than that of short-wavelength lasers, so it can avoid significant invasive epidermal reactions (no burst bleeding, purpura, epidermal splattering, etc.) caused by strong absorption by the epidermis. At the same time, the wavelength of each target chromophore absorption rate difference is relatively small, non-targeted pigment treatment can reduce the risk of pigment loss.

The laser has a relatively long wavelength and appropriate energy peak, strong penetration, can act directly on the dermis, at the same time, because of its pulse width of nanoseconds, can be in a very short period of time to release a high energy, the colour base absorbs the laser energy, too late to heat conduction sharp burst, resulting in shock wave action in the tissue to produce mechanical damage, which produces a series of effects to promote the restructuring of the collagen and the proliferation of the rejuvenation effect.

Alexandrite Laser

Emerald crystal, also known as chrysoberyl etc., is a kind of broadband tunable laser working medium with excellent performance, which can be pumped by xenon lamp or diode, with the wavelength of 755nm, and the ultraviolet laser can be obtained through a single frequency doubling, which has a wide range of applications in the field of laser medical and cosmetic treatment.

Alex 755nm laser hair removal is based on the principle of selective photothermal, through the reasonable adjustment of laser energy and pulse width, the laser will be able to penetrate the skin directly to the hair follicle, laser energy is absorbed by the hair follicle tissue is converted into heat, so that the hair loses the regeneration ability and is discharged from the surrounding tissues, so as to achieve the purpose of permanent hair removal.

Application

(1) YAG Laser

The 1064nm Nd:YAG laser with its unique wavelength, low energy and photomodulation modes expands the indications of this laser, which can be flexibly applied to treat a variety of pigmentary disorders, skin aging, impaired skin barrier function, acne and other skin disorders in addition to melasma.

(2) Alex Laser

① Hair Removal

The 755nm alex laser is now recognised as one of the more effective lasers for hair removal and can be used for hair removal in any area including underarms, bikini line, face, neck, back, chest and legs.

② Vascular Lesions

Targeting the red pigment (haemoglobin).

Thread veins on the face and legs, some vascular birthmarks (capillary malformations).

Vascular diseases: angiomas, capillary dilatation, rosacea.

③ Removal of tattoos and pigments, improvement of aged skin

The use of emerald green lasers improves especially blue and green pigment removal processes.

Age spots, freckles, flat pigmented birthmarks (congenital melanocytic nevi), nevus of Ota and acquired dermal melanocytosis.

Q & A

(1) What is "Q755 Alex Laser"?

Q755 alex laser is a laser device produced by an American company, with a wavelength of 755nm, using the principle of selective photothermal action to break up melanin particles and remove freckles, sun spots, nevus of Ota, brownish green nevus and other benign pigmentation diseases of the skin.

(2) Does laser treatment of skin diseases hurt normal skin? Will it leave scars?

Since the laser releases its energy for an extremely short period of time of one ten millionth of a second, the heat it generates is not transmitted to the surrounding tissues and does not cause damage to the normal skin, and thus the treatment is, in principle, scarless. There is no wound and no need for special care.

(3) What can the Alex Laser treat?

It can treat benign pigment increasing disorders of the epidermis and dermis. This includes nevus of Ota, nevus of Ito, freckles, freckle-like nevus, seborrheic keratosis, tattoos, and brown-bronze nevus.

(4) How often and how many treatments are needed for laser treatment of nevus of Ota?

Nevus of Ota, commonly known as "black birthmark", grows with age and can be treated as early as possible when the child reaches 6 months of age. It can be treated as early as possible. It can be completely cured by laser, no recurrence, no scar. Treatment at intervals of 3 to 6 months, with 3-8 treatments leading to complete cure.

(5) Can freckles be treated? Does it hurt?

Freckles are a relatively common pigmentation disorder in Asians and deepen in colour with sun exposure. Choosing laser treatment will not leave scars and most of them can be removed in one session, while a few need a second session.
